Our Vision
All students will benefit from access to a variety of healthy food within their school lunch, including: fruits, vegetables, and milk. Additionally, a progressive nutrition and wellness program will be implemented, we will assist our students to “resolve to be fit”. This program is designed to assist children with Autism to make healthy life choices. *According to the CDC, by adolescence, children with Autism were reported to be 32% more obese than adolescents without Autism. Spectrum would like to help make a dent in this percentage and build healthy life skills.
Spectrum is proud to participate in the National School Lunch Program.
All families have been given the option to apply for the free and reduced meal program and are encouraged to complete the application annually.
Notably, it takes approximately 30 days to process these applications.
